MidModMen+friends Is Back in Business

MCM goodness in a spankin'-new storefront

Mark your calendar, MCM furniture fans: St. Paul’s MidModMen+friends reopens tomorrow, February 4, following a four-month hiatus. If you’ll remember, the decade-old shop weathered a devastating fire last September and had to be rebuilt practically from scratch. The newly remodeled digs feature refinished hardwood floors, fresh carpeting, brighter lighting, and an even more impressive selection of covetable midcentury and Scandinavian modern furniture.

Co-owners Neal Kielar and Jon Mehus have toiled diligently to restock their inventory with a heavy emphasis on bedroom and living room furnishings, custom lighting, original artwork, studio pottery, and vintage barware. Star finds include the electric blue Jens Risom C140 Playboy arm chair pictured above, a Danish teak dining table, a solid birch Conant Ball Norsemates room divider, an Eames-designed fiberglass armchair, a Lane Acclaim drum table, a low-slung Norwegian modern teak sideboard-credenza, and so much more.

The shop will be open Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to start. Let’s show these gents some #MNlove, y’all!
