Eat Street Crossing Makes a Perfect Lunch Date

When Brazilian pizza calls, we answer

Fire tip of the week: Swing by Nicollet’s new Eat Street Crossing on a weekday afternoon for lunch-sized pies from Ouro Pizzaria and a laidback, kid-and-pup-friendly vibe. For our first rodeo at the new Bebe Zito spinoff, we split a Pelé pie (spicy Calabrese salami drizzled in jalapeño-infused agave) and the Mercado (mortadella, pistachio basil pesto, arugula, oregano, and white sauce), pictured below.

In case you’re curious, the secret to that crunchy, chewy, Brazilian-style pizza crust is a vampire slayer’s worth of garlic. The perfect finish, of course, is a scoop of Bebe’s puckery-tart Brazilian Lemonade ice cream cut with sweetened condensed milk and swirled in guava sauce. When on Eat Street, right?
